Ironman is pretty close to flawless tbh, sure it isn't OB4CL, but there's only 1 album that's on OB4CL's level and that's the GOAT Liquid Swords

Iron Maiden
Wildflower
The Faster Blade
260
Assassination Day
Poisonous Darts
Winter Warz
Box in Hand
Fish

Camay
Daytona 500
Motherless Child

Black Jesus
After the Smoke is Clear
All That I Got is You
The Soul Controller

who's fukking with that track list?

why isn't the faster blade bolded?

edit: and soul controller

also do any of y'all have the Ironman CD?

why is Soul Controller not on my CD? I think down the line the sample was uncleared and issues with that resulted in the track being removed

I have Marvel as the closing track instead, which is far better tbh

Can someone answer this for me please?

OB4CL, Ironman & Supreme Clientele

Rae has always been one of my favorites on the mic, not going to lie Ghost isn't my favorite a lot of the time but the beats on Supreme Clientele really get it over the edge

And I'm not saying Ghost isn't nice on the mic, just a lot of songs lack something for me

Listening to Supreme Clientele while dinner is cooking. Had to break the robe out for this :whoo:

@mobbinfms spotted cooking dinner in the West Coast somewhere...

Tbh I thought Ghostface was the better rapper on OB4CL though stylistically he didn't come into his own yet, not least until Wu Forever partially and Supreme Clientele completely.

But Raekwon rebounded and took Ghost's spotlight on that album imo.
Nah man, there's no way. Ghostface was ill... but Raekwon was top 5 breh.

People may have thought he was nerdy and corny, but that nikka had a top 3 flow. Nas, Prodigy, B.I.G., Raekwon and insert your 5th. But those were the best rappers at the time imo.

Only Built 4 Cuban Linx, Illmatic, Ready To Die, The Infamous and once again insert whoever you think might fit the bill that I'm forgetting, but those were the best shyts out of the east coast during that period from a solo. To be honest, I'm not even that huge on Ready To Die, but the impact is undeniable.

I think Raekwon was more comfortable in that lane of rapping, but how you gonna argue against verses like the ones on Criminology or Verbal Intercourse or his solo Wisdom Body or his verse on Guillotine or Knuckleheadz?

I think they were pretty evenly matched back then. I kinda miss that less abstract and more hardcore Ghost style of rap.

but I'm not even... cause like I said Rae was top 5. Ghost was top 5 on my list personally, but I'm sayin like where I feel nobody could argue with.

Evenly matched? Definitely. Look at Black Jesus. To me that's the most underrated Ghost/Rae collabo. Nobody shows this shyt love. They were definitely neck and neck... but I think Rae had an edge on the flow.

At the end of the day, we probably wouldn't argue over what album should be playing if we ever got stuck in a room so :yeshrug:

It was a sample clearance issue
