I bet half of the people voting for The Diary are mute posters who don't even listen to that album nor own it. They just heard "it's classic" and voted.

34 people voted, and yet I don't see multiple explanations for why Diary is a beloved classic? :duck:

Enjoy your neg juice

Album has to be 10 years old to be in consideration.

I feel like the Fix didn't really hold up over time. It was considered the shyt when it dropped, but it faded over time.

It's funny because I feel the opposite. I think The Fix was ahead of it's time.

I think Guess Who's Back is a top 5 Kanye beat, he really made a street classic with that one.

I voted for The Diary and The Fix but Scarface has never dropped a bad album, and I think he is the Nas of the South.

Point me to objective evidence of the Fix still being held in high regard and I'll change my vote.
I feel the "classic album mystique" that attached to say "Supreme Clientele" or "Madvilliany" just didn't stick to the Fix. :yeshrug:
Also, I think the album is overrated quality wise.
I listened to again a few years back and wasn't blown away. :yeshrug:
