They're pioneers that were ahead of their time and overshadowed by The Geto Boys and UGK

Three Six Mafia had/has the artistry, the talent, and the impact that transcends time and yet @mobbinfms and other users still look for the validation of the oppressor to debunk their greatness

So if they had a major distribution deal through Universal in 1995 and more fans got to hear their music as a result of it then you would be "ok" with giving them their just due


Their sound dominates mainstream (regardless of region/nation) hip hop today. They're pioneers and classic is subjective

One minute "we anti", Anti- CAC and we hate Complex and XXL

The next we're using their grading scale to justify albums being great, good, or average

I bet The Source/XXL never gave Three 6 Mafia/Project Pat any respect during their run. I doubt any of their albums got more than 3 MICs.

I bet brainwashed fans that never listened to their music or chalked it up to southern noise just thought they were some fly by night country bumpkins that would be 1/2 hit wonders

Just because you refuse to give any of their albums a thorough listen (steady asking for us to point you in the direction of what subjectivity or universal opinion/general consensus is..)

Rocky = one of your fave artist

Last Album dropped = 2015

You made light of their sound and how it's prevalent today YET Juicy( as a producer and featured guest) was on A$AP's last album just 9 months ago
