No one in the nfl cares what your philosophy might do years later when you have 1 win in 2 seasons. “These picks might be multi year contributors” well they play for the browns no shyt they will contribute they have nothing else. Pass on Watson and Wentz when your biggest need is qb and proceed to win 1 game in your multi year gm tenure and expect to stay employed?

He had the right idea, but he butted heads with Hue, and you see who Haslam sided with.

In addition, you can't have nothing at QB and pass on Wentz

So they look at getting offered a whole bunch of picks just to move down a few spots as a no brainer from a value standpoint

Completely ignoring that in the NFL if u don't have a Qb u have no chance and that if u do land a franchise qb that can cover up a lot of holes and weaknesses and make you a contender for a decade

Very young team, youngest in the NFL by a lot(avg age 24). They've been close in a lot of games. They shouldn't be 0-12, maybe like 4-8.

the weakness at QB lost him his job. He def shoulda pulled the trigger on Deshaun or Carson Wentz. Hate the fact that they've got all this cap room and these extra picks - they're gonna turn it around and the next GM will get the kudos smh

I'm surprised they kept Hue. Not saying it's his fault but usually you fire the coach too and let the gm pick his own coach
