CM Punk has no real athletic background, he in no way fought in any minor promotion or even mid level ones. UFC has a limited amount of roster spots, majority of those guys in UFC had years of training in an actual sport and had to work their way into the promotion, basically CM Punk is starting from scratch and jumped right in from the gate. Brock Lesnar at the very least was an NCAA champ and had a real atheltic background ,CM Punk not only doesnt, but inn all honesty isnt very atheletic to me. wathcing him in his praticce videos he comes across as one of them kids who didint play any sports in high school and retroatively decided to get into it because of his current disdain for wrestling. lookin at his high school pics dude definately was not into no sports or any type of real full contact competition.

He looks out of his element, in wrestling you can get by with great excecution and presentation, in combat sports its strictly based on skill, and judging by all his injuries and his inability to even have a fukking match, this simply isnt gonna work. His in ring excecution of strikes always looked hilarious to me.

Hes definately taking up a sport, UFC as a whole could give that money to someone who matters, this whole thing is a publicity stunt to fulfill his ever growing ego IMO

He's egotistical and hypocritical. I think that's why I don't like him. He put up this facade of being the people's champ when in reality he was just looking out for himself. He didn't really care about the state of the product as much as he cared about where he fit into the product. In hindsight it was about him being the man in the wwe.
