While sacrificing to have Wade ready for the playoffs he ran LeBron and Bosh into the ground. I really don't understand why, they knew they are getting to the finals what's the difference between a 2 seed or an 8 seed in the weak ass east.

I like his defense, but when Pop exposed the trapping, chaos creating style that Miami plays with quick ball movement, its like he didn't have an adjustment for it.

And his offensive schemes aren't too complex. Just basic pick and rolls leading to Bron/Wade penetration for a dish or lay-up. Sometimes run something to get they're three point shooters open though.

But if something isn't working it's like he doesn't know how to adjust and just expects his stars to bail him out.

Challenge who?

No one outcoached anyone

The heat have the best offense in the NBA

Wade is the scorer they need

nikka what are you babbling about

This experiment was a success

These laughable, yet erroneous comments throughout this thread indicate you don't have a fukking clue about Basketball! Those with actual knowledge of the game understand that Erik Jokelstra is nothing but a water boy moonlighting as an incompetent NBA head coach, who can't figure out proper player rotations or specific methodologies/adjustments to create the proper offensive/defensive strategies for Miami. Erik Jokelstra's success is based only on the fact that Pat Riley added great players with aestheticism & skill to conceal his numerous coaching flaws & lack of expertise.

You obviously want him able to go but it should have been realized that he's not going to be as effective as he once was. Perhaps run more offense for Bosh, I dunno. It seemed like Spo didn't have any type of adjustments to make, no plan B...nothing but desperation moves like Tony Douglas

Offensive wasn't their problem

Tony Douglas only played about 3 meaningful Minutes

Charmers was their best 3 point shooter this season.

You have to trust what got you there
A good coach wouldn't have his all star PF playing like a spot up shooter against the Spurs..

The bosh three is a big part of their offense

Once again. Bosh and Bron played the fewest minutes of their career

Would you please go into detail.

This thread is not about blanket cliche statements with nothing behind them

LeBron played marginally fewer minutes in the lock out season. But that's beside the point. He shouldn't have to play 37-38 minutes a game in the weak ass east.

@CrimsonTider why are you going to bat for a coach we'd said from jump shouldn't be coaching these boys. He isn't a good coach. Anyone can see that.

Hes a great coach

He changed the entire identity of the team in one year

What other coach besides pop can say that and it took Duncan declining for pop to change

But his blueprint includes a lack of a ability to make adjustments, a stagnant offense, and stubborn rotations.
There offense is anything but stagnant

They're the best half court offensive team this year.

What adjustment weren't made?

What stubborn rotations?

Don't you think getting LeBron and Bosh had more to do with that

They actually completely changed the offense after the loss to Dallas. Miami's offense is pretty intricate and was the 2nd best in the league in the regular season (better than the Spurs).
