Entice who to come over? He already bought WCW by that point
Sorry, I thought you were talking about Jericho when he came over and feuded with The Rock. I’d argue that only happened because wcw was purchased. Also, beating rock and Austin only to lose to HHH is some funky shyt.

Did anyone else that came over after the buyout go over in the invasion angle?

Feels like the WWE move might be an emotional decision than just finance one. That said, leaving AEW is one I understand he had to do. He came being promised something and a deal. He got his power taken by him (Something anyone who does a business with an investor should be aware about ) But at the same time it seems like his ideas werent great nor were Brandi's and the things that AEW is getting right are in spite of them. Whatever caused TK to strip the EVP titles was out of how they felt the direction was going (Which seem to be better in 2021 though people still had their issues with too many guys and booking angles vs just matches). They probably should have been more conformity and agreement but thats something that seems easier on paper with any 2 people than in actually executing it.

I dont blame Cody for thinking otherwise, he speaheaded All In and AEW to start with and many of the ideas to get it off the ground and going so like I said i get the idea of being compensated. I wonder how much of this is also with how the Bucks, Jericho and Kenny feel bout him

I dont know how he'll be treated in WWE. He may intially be welcome and have a push but how are they viewing him. Say what you want about Cody, he maximized his worth in the past 6 years. WWE may value him for that or not welcome it at all. He may come in expecting to have a more creative hand only for them to bush it or they may use his ideas.

Like I said, Cody was basically a forced tailgater with the Elite. He always felt out of place and tried to fit in. We don’t know if he actually invested any money into AEW, and quite frankly, I doubt he did. TK is the Main Man.

I give Cody props for helping push for AEW, but that’s it. He’s not a main guy and should be thankful for where he’s at because if it wasn’t for his last name he would be just another midcarder. Dude and his wife are in no position to be booking After all the bullshyt they threw at us. :camby:

what exactly has she ever done to be in charge of booking the women's division? :dahell:

both Brandi and Cody are absolute narcissist :yeshrug:

Ehhhhh

Without Cody the The Bucks and Omega are still content just wrestling in ROH/NJPW. He's the one that even had the connect to Tony.

Ok, what does this have to do with what I said? I never mentioned anything about AEW existing with just Omega/YB. I already said I give Cody props for pushing for a fed. :dwillhuh:

Cody is connected to TK? How so? Never knew that. :ohhh:

He knew him/brought him in and pitched the idea of AEW/A wrestling company to Tony

Kenny & The Bucks were cool with the status quo and it was working perfectly fine for them tbh. But Cody had the vision to take it a step further.

I know how it went down, but I’m asking how Cody knew TK before everything happened. :dwillhuh:

It does

But hes also the only one with a reality show and totally different expectations for himself and storylines that didnt match up. Thin line between friends who are disloyal and you actually being the problem
