FHD is better than Born Sinner and Sideline Story but it's really not that interesting. The drum sequencing throughout the album are bad. No Role Modelz has a really awkward piano beat with no energy that sounds like Kanye or any decent producer could have fixed in ten minutes.
Thematically it's a continuation of his past work. Very little growth. Lyrically it's full of awkward punchlines. And it ends in a 14 minute shout out song that makes you think wow, this is his attempt at making a Last Call? Lol
Think about the growth Kanye displayed in three albums, going from soul loops to orchestration to pop/edm. Think about the growth Kendrick displayed in two albums, going from a contemporary concept album to an epic work that features every facet of black music. Where is Cole's growth? Sideline Story is a bad album. Born Sinner is more ambitious than the fisher price quality of the first album but it's completely forgettable. FHD is contemporary similar to GKMC but quality wise? Nah.

NWA sold like 5 million albums in the US, white people loved them and you cant deny that. There are even white people who hate kendrick too lol. His alright performance and grammy performance got white people mad too, It wasnt at the level of NWA controversy obviously though. You cant say that white people loved kendrick but not NWA that is 100% false.

When I say "white people" I'm talkin about the entire overall collective.
Sure there are some "white people" that like NWA and some that Like Kendrick.
But the overall collective is threatened by what NWA says, and comfortable with "as long as God got us we gone be alright".
That's literally what they been teaching us since slavery. "Just pray to the god we gave you, and hope we stop enslaving and lynching you, either way you'll be alright"
If Kendricks music was truly powerful and pro black he'd win no Grammys, and these cac sites wouldn't be praising him as they do.
