I'm lookin' at coppin' a ride for the summer, been looking at around the 25K-30K mark, I can pick up a 645 convertible. By random chance, a friend of mine told me he was looking to sell his '05 Bentley GT, at about $50K. I was like :wtf: how in the f*ck are Bentleys that cheap? Been checking online and it seems that's about the going rate. So I'm basically thinking about buying the 645 cash vs financing the GT. I still got time as I won't really need a summer car before April, just lookin' to get an opinion as I personally feel it's kind of frontin' to be drivin' a Bentley and not be getting Michael Vick money. Let me know what y'all think, and if there are any other suggestions for a summer ride in the 20-30K range, let me know.

I was gonna buy an 80s Bentley but it was JUST out of my price range. I don't know shyt about cars but I love luxury so I would say yes. Not the best person to advise you on something like this though.

Those cars are in a different realm in terms on maintanence....I'd stay away. Those cars are a statement, it's important to make sure that statement isn't a lie.
I don't know if you know what you are talking about unless you are talking cost of maintenance because on many forums where cats have this car they say its not really bad at all. Its just when stuff goes its expensive compared to regular cars but hell if dude buying this car he should have money for maintenance or else fukk he buying the car for. For 50k that shyt must have like 50k miles though because I usually see them for about 60-70k in that year range with 20-40k mileage wise. I would buy it because why get a bmw/e class that is relatively normal when you can have a Bentley (that still isnt the norm) that still looks good even though they switched up the design? That's if you can afford the fixing of things and remember the iPod shyt isn't in most of them if you care about that in this model year

Everybody's talking about maintenance, I'm assuming $10-15K/yr is more than sufficient, no? I didn't ask about the mileage, because I didn't know if I should seriously consider it, but I'm guessing 60-70K miles, he's had it since '08. I don't consider a 645 convertible normal, but yeah, a Bentley GT is :win: status, which is why I'm seriously considering financing, as my original idea was 25-30K cash. I could give a f*ck about the iPod, and if it's that big a deal, I'm sure I can mod the console for less than $10K anyways. So @philmonroe you don't think it's frontin'? Everybody else seems to think otherwise.

Man as far as the fronting its alot of fronting going on then but you doing it bigger than them so fukk it. As long as you got a decent place to stay I'd do it if its financially possible for you. It looks silly if you basement of your mothers house status lol. How are you fronting anymore than cats driving 06 5 series for 15k they got last week though? Remember people will always try to do that discrediting shyt but again if you can afford it comfortably do it. I would think 10-15k should be good but you should check some of the Bentley messageboards and they can give you better info than me. I just remember what I said but I checked them threads awhile ago.

2010 A5 vs 2005/06 645??

Hell yes!!!

Better technology, cheaper brakes and maintenance is way cheaper. Looks better. Gas mileage is way cheaper. This is a stunting contest, not performance.

:ohhh: breh, I've been traveling too long, you can get a 2010 A5 for $25K?

Listed at $30K :wtf: Cars are cheap as hell now! I still don't consider it colder than:
