Right idea, wrong delivery.

When you highlight the qualities of a "nerd" in terms of what he does for you and how he serves you.......it makes men recoil because you're basically saying "I want this geek because he will do everything for me."

You're not saying that you want him because he just inherently makes your toes curl.

It's smart for women to seek out higher quality, intelligent men....but the man has to feel like he's getting something out of the deal. An educated nerd with his shyt together is a High Value Man and he WILL look to upgrade if you're not holding up your end of the bargain.

Women will marry the nerd & still get dikked down on the side something vicious

And then have the nerve to divorce the nerd and suck him dry in the end

Fellas, you gotta be a balance...serious about your academics & then career, but you also can't be a pushover

Guys like us who can be both got the world at our fingertips

I think there needs to be an alignment on how you communicate your satisfaction in a relationship.

Adidas slides and dirty white socks still communicates she had a raw, visceral attraction to those types which is kind of a dusty reflection on herself. But to preface only the material benefits of being with a "nerd" kinda suggests something I don't want to label her as for the purpose of this conversation.

If I was the "nerd", we woulda had a serious conversation that night if she put this on social. It ain't the type of love I think a lot of dudes want from their lady. It's a byproduct.

Wrong idea. Nerds are no different than the rest of dating world. They have the same amount of baggage and justify why they date non-black people due to unresolved trauma from high school. Not worth the headache.

She’s admitting she married that man for money, but yall ignore that. You also don’t know if this is a conventionally attractive man, who happens to be a nerd. This is why yall don’t understand Russell, and Ciara. He’s a conventionally attractive man who happens to be a millionaire quarterback. But y’all act like him not being a thug was going to prevent him from getting an attractive black woman. He could have chosen a black woman with no children, and who didn’t date a rapper. But he liked who he liked, and he got her.

All nerds don’t turn into 6 figure brehs. And this woman is average, light skinned, and probably settled for an average looking man with money. Your fantasy of the model type woman settling with the nerdy, average looking bus driver isn’t happening in large numbers.
