I bought the TV a few model numbers up from this the 55LM7600 and its a great tv but the screen is kinda glossy and reflective. Don't know if its all LG TVs or just mine. It was also $1000 more that that model.

I know the deals don't last long but ill be getting my taxes in like 2 weeks. I need a new tv for the bedroom. I don't wanna spend more than 400$. I want like a 36-40inch... I'd love a 3d tv , I got a old ass panisonic 780i

naw youre not getting a 3dtv for $400
you could probably get a 40-50" off brand hdtv for that price

apologies in advance for derailing this thread and coming off as an ass, but if you have to rely on and wait for a tax return to afford a tv, you should probably be using/saving your money elsewhere 
thankfully i didn't have to use my tax money on my TV. i did however buy my shyt on credit and paying $1600 at on time on a credit card just to avoid paying any interest is not fun. buying the TV was a blast though.
