Yeah this was the video. Imo, the sauce was enough to flavor the chicken.

She’s not wrong about the salt and acid part. I also use plain powders to marinate and the garlic powder and onion powder is not something you taste in the actual meat, what u taste is the salt. That’s why I brine. But overall she’s not wrong.
