But I've also seen dudes that seemed to have no connection to their child.


So why is there such a vast difference in feelings. Let me know what it's like to be a dad

Aint shyt people know their kid wont be shyt and wont bother bonding with them

Quality people know the sky's the limit with their kid. There's no money you can make that will bring you pride like your kids successes and accomplishments.

It is the greatest thing ever. I always scoffed at the "miracle of birth" and all the cliches that we hear about parenting but it is all true. Every time I look at that little boy I am amazed. My entire focus in life shifted from my own selfish desires to doing everything in my power to protect, provide for, and set and example for him. There is nothing like looking at a little version of yourself with all the potential in the world and none of the baggage that you carry. All you want to do is help them meet that potential and protect them from the BS that creates the baggage. You instantly appreciate and respect your parents even more (if they were actual parents of course).

more than economic challenges, issues with co-parents or anything else, not bonding with or caring for your child is a mental issue.
