I mostly agree that having female friends doesn't really work out too well. If I'm in a relationship I can't be having them around and same thing if they are in one, we just stop talking altogether. There's not enough trust in our society for people to just be friends and all parties are gonna be cool with it, etc..
However, I will give you an example of how I did become friends with a couple females at work. These females were very open about their relationships and who they were fukkin and I didn't really view them as females I wanted to get with, they are good looking but definitely not my type at all. So we start talkin about our relationships and now we are friends and give advice to one another, it's understood that we don't want one another.
