Rewatched this masterpiece before I begin watching the TV series.

I don’t expect the series to be great. I just hope it’s entertaining.

Haven't given the show a chance myself. Need to watch this brilliant flick again tho for the 100th time.

Really dope flick even if it was infuriating to watch at points. Tone-wise it felt like if Vanilla Sky and Synecdoche, New York had a baby. I’m a sucker for jazz and the score here could honestly belong in one of Woody Allen’s movies. I know that name is etched in controversial stone but it really did feel like a throwback to his early NYC works.

Renate has a knack for playing insufferable female leads. You could say she has a knack for playing…The Worst Person in the World. Love her though.

Sebastian is slowly but surely rising up the ranks for me as an actor I gotta see. It’s dope that he’s managing to pick interesting, deep roles while also tackling the MCU. His former partner-in-heroics could take notes.

Watching game of thrones, as a book reader, the series downfall officially starts in season 5, season 1-4 phenomenal, halfway through season 5 & I don't know whether there were budget cuts or what, but what they did Barristan Selmy and Peter leaving the Vale to play matchmaker to the Boltons is trash status.

Was it an Oscar worthy performance, I don't think so, if anything the guy with actual disease should be getting the attention and praise. He was so charming. I didn't really buy Sebastian's spiral down.
