Watched this on Peacock last night. I can see why the switch to more action, instead of horror didn't really land. The comedic aspects of the movie worked best for me, with Megan carrying the film hard.
I know people expected more horror in Megan 2, but I'm not gonna lie, I was entertained by the action switch up, probably because I was expecting another killer AI doll movie.
I'm not saying it was a classic or anything, but it was fun and different
the song Megan sang in part 2 was hilarious to me as a Black person too, but I don't want to say what song yet incase a few people still haven't seen it
Almost forgot to mention the last movie I watched
Batman: Mask of the Phantasm
hadn't seen it in at least a decade, still liked it, dark and gritty
I still remember in one of the episodes I watched on Batman the Animated series
and when the Penguin tried to give his fancy trap for Bats a fancy name the rest of the villains looked at him like he was stupid
then when the Penguin tried to explain, The Joker was like Penguin...how CORNY can you get
you know you're not funny or witty when even the fukking Joker tells you you're lame
