Decent buddy cop popcorn flick :ehh:

Paula Patton was :shaq: in this

the Mark Wahlberg redemption storyline was bloated and unnecessary, it should have been cut out, they left a lot of money at the box office by not coming out early when Pacific Rim underperfromed , otherwise a great flick

You know what they say "Never rob a bank across from a diner that has the best donuts in three counties."

The blackface was uncalled for, he did it again in burger cop, so I kinda know where he stands, hes probably apologized since he worked with arsenio in Marshal Law but still...

yeah the burger cop aka don't give a damn (ironic title hu) was fukked up on another level!!

plenty of hong kong films back then had some racial stereo type jabs involved..be it black, middle eastern and most of the time white (gweilo) used to get hard!

The cinematic experience I've elected to gander upon on this particular evening was that of one best suited for a more formal theater setting, complete with ignited kernels, crisp sodium bicarbonate beverages, and a raucous audience of melanin pigment as opposed to a lonesome escapade in one's own domicile. Formulaic scenarios were in abundance along with a pedestrian narrative and cast to boot, with a climax that was resolved rather expeditiously.

Last 3 things I watched:

1. "The Boys" on Amazon. Great fukking show.

2 ."The Witch: Part 1. The Subversion" - Korean super hero movie by Park Hoon-jung, writer of the amazing "I Saw The Devil" and writer/director of "New World", another great movie.

Part of a planned trilogy. I liked it but they kinda did too much with the plot, where a character has a plan that doesn't completely make sense if you analyze it too much.

3. "Parasite" - Korean movie by Bong Joon-ho, director of "The Host", "Memories Of Murder" and "Snowpiercer". Dope movie that has an uh....interested tonal shift about half way through.
