You do knows kids can already get a form of birth control without their parents consent right? How would this render them anymore "out of the loop" than they already are?

i'm not gonna try to convince that parents should be left in the loop, cause the numbers are too lopsided. I'm just gonna say its good that the numbers are down, and i wish parents weren't being sidestepped in the process.

There's no way really to control for what kids are going to do at the end of the day (unfortunately). I would say its better for them to have access to as much protection as they can in the event that they do it. The kids who are going to have sex are honestly going to do it anyway

I dont think anyone has expressed outrage or disappointment in the reduction in teen pregnancy/abortion, or has stated that this reduction is a bad thing in anyway... no need to reach.

Considering how you were bemoaning this because "parents are being marginalized" and as another example of the nuclear family being dissolved, how is it a reach to say that you were disappointed in the reduction of teen pregnancy? Or at least in how it was achieved in part by not requiring parental consent from teens seeking birth control?
