Colts’ QB Philip Rivers is retiring from football

Rebounded well from that dreadful 2019 campaign in Los Angeles and helped us go 11-5 this year. He wasn't bad this year, but with his immobility at his current age and having to likely have surgery on his foot this offseason.....this was for the best. Thank you Phil for your services!

I hope we give Eason a shot honestly, just to see what he can do. I definitely don't see Ballard starting Jacoby again after bringing in Phil last year to take on that role though.

He was a good and at times very good QB, but he was not elite. People putting him up there at times with Brady, Rodgers, P. Manning, Brees, and Big Ben were/are out of their mind.

And, I don't even want to hear about HOF talk for him. He is absolutely NOT a HOF player.

Damn, Coli got no love for Phillip Rivers

He may have been overrated, but he was always a top 10 QB in the league. They should've kept Marty Schottenheimer for a bit longer because that team with Rivers/LT/Gates/V-Jax was fun to watch. Their defense was good too. It was really disappointing how that team kept coming up short.

They drafted Jacob Eason last year, so this was inevitable. The only question is, do they keep Brissett & let him contend for the job or trade him?
