Gasol beasted? Whats with all this revisionist history on here?

Gasol shot 37% from the field in game 7 and was 7 of 13 from the FT line.

That's beasting? :what:

Good point, he was bad as everybody else shooting the ball.

His 19 boards 9 offensive were huge though and I think the biggest reason they were still in the game.

Granted he didn't shoot well. My point was just that Lakers won with a team effort, despite their #1 option having probably his worst Finals performance ever.

Crazy, they shot 32% from the field and won.
:wow:

Kobe grabbed 3 less rebounds than Gasol and scored 11 points in the 4th.

He was a 19 year old bench player playing behind 2 other all-stars.

Kobe before the all-star break was averaging 17 points a game on 47% shooting and was the run away 6th man of the year. Then he hit a wall. He still came in 2nd in the 6th man of the year voting.

Lets not act like Kobe was some scrub.

Not saying he was a scrub.

He wasn't in a position for MJ fans to worry about him like Kobe fans have to do with Wade fans or Bron fans.

erratic J, below-average post game, no right hand, no off-ball game, not a great ballhandler.

he's maxed out his potential. I don't see him in any of these areas except MAYBE developing a decent J, and I'm being generous.

MJ fans did hate him tho. The raw talent was there for everyone to see. He was doing that while being the 3rd/4th option. At 20 he averaged 20/4/3. Kobe was the first perimeter player to be doing things like that at such a young age.

When Kobe was 20 MJ was out the league.

So MJ fans weren't weren't having discussions about who was the better player when Kobe came into the league, his 2nd year, or when Kobe was 20, which was the point of my initial post.

I love how Bron is better than Kobe, because he does more than just score, then completely forgetting that logic when it comes to Jordan & Magic.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?

I think that's because Magic wasn't comparable as a scorer, nor close as a defender, and when Mike set his mind to passing he could, averaged 32/8/8 one year.
