Come to school, smelling like weed, get arrested, big problem

I'm torn. I would give them a short term suspension not prosecute or expel. Principal is OD but how hard is it to not smoke weed before or during school? What happens if you go to work smelling like weed? We're raising a generation of kids not prepared for the real world because standards are so low now and they just get coddled excessively.

No, not really. It's harsh but it helps create an environment where drugs won't have that much of influence within the school.

Also it may create a environment where kids who want to get something outta their time in school can flourish and be encouraged.

Rather the attempt of creating an stable and orderly environment then allowing addicts or dealers to have a presence and giving openings for them to cause chaos and fukkery.
