“Doo Wop (That Thing)” is one of the greatest records/raps of all-time. Of ALL TIME.

The rest of that album? Get the fucc outta my face.

The Score? Get the fucc outta my face.

Wyclef by himself made better albums/music on his own than the other folks in Refugee Camp,
and I will fight anybody on that hill (no pun intended).

Yeah....right.

"Elevator music"??

What's funny is I respect classic jazz, but I can't listen to it purposefully usually.....but add hip hop + jazz sound, which is the Tribe sound and I'm:krs:

Trap sound has warped what music is supposed to sound like..........

I never seriously listened to ATCQ but I'm going to now. Their beats are super chill. In fact, can you recommend some other rap songs with slow tempo/relaxed/study/sleep type beats?(other than lofi)

Dre rivals Cube as a rapper..his voice is commanding and distinct..his flow solid and on point.

In terms of punchlines, metaphors, idiom flipping

Rappers today or atleast post-2000 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 90s rappers and lyricist

The only thing 90s rappers were better at is storytelling and multi syllable rap.

3.) Lil B > Kendrick Lamar. Lil B was way more influential than K Dot. Based God gave birth to a new generation of rappers. Lil B never gets credit for how prolific he was, nor does he get credit for his versatility in creating great serious songs as well. K Dot was propped up by the mainstream music machine whereas Lil B was an underdog and a genius in self promotion and an expert troll without going to 69 levels.

Based and Factual :wow:

Whole Dipset was/is trash to me. When he first started to become a name I used to think nikkas was trolling when they said they liked Cam'ron

Cam was legit nice but Dipset era Cam and Dipset in general were big trash to me. I never understood their appeal. They were carried strictly by their production in their prime.

Lil Wayne was never more than hype man status to me. Dude was average to trash on the mic. Back in my cd burning days in college, nikkas used to ask me for SQAD Up mixtapes. I use to be like why are they sweating Wayne all of a sudden?..I burnt a couple and put one in the cd player to test and see if I was missing something. I was like :heh: nah this ain't. But nikkas were paying me for it so whatever. I thought this Wayne shyt would be a fad. I was wrong:smh:
