--A lot of 90s rap was ASS, and I'm an 80s baby. For example, I HATE that Puffy/Hitmen style of sampling which literally just rips off the entire song and throws some rap verses over it.

--Griselda, Dave East, and that whole lane of nikkas is ASS to me.

--A lot of y'all gon be in your feelings over this, but Nipsey Hussle was NOT a good rapper, nor was his music good. RIP tho

--The most talented rappers (i.e., Lauryn, Phonte, Andre, Gambino, etc) usually do other musical things besides rap, because rap is limited

--Kanye should be considered top 5 all-time, based on discography alone

--Drake, love him or hate him, is arguably top 10 all-time. The run he's been on since '09 has been wild. Plus, he can outrap a lot of y'all faves when he gets in his lyrical bag.

--Phonte would probably wash your favorite rapper, and he doesn't even care about rap anymore

--It's insanity that rapping about gangbanging, killing, and selling crack to your own people is considered "real nikka" rap. It's even insane to me that our people accept that so freely.
