He contradicted himself. He saying we (blacks) aren't extending a fist but a hand that wants love. But then says we also are asking that (white) hand to help? :mindblown:
So we just gonna ignore why we NEED HELP but keep on begging? :what:

Didn't we already do this during civil rights? Wasn't welfare suppose to "help." Desegregating was supposed to "help." "Affirmative action" was supposed to "help."

I didn't think we can be this backwards. These fools are walking around acting in historical movies but don't even understand the history and it's significance.:scust:Bunch of dummies. Sadly, they gave this fool an Oscar and he now wants to stay in them "power" circles.

News flash Common: They haven't extended their hand to help you, it is to milk you.

Shameful and spineless.

They know why they hate us, but we dont know. WE ARE THE ONES THAT WERE STRIPPED OF OUR NATIONALITY, HISTORY, AND KNOWLEDGE OF SELF. WE RULED THE ENTIRE WORLD. They don't call that shyt the dark ages for nothing. Its a world wide agenda to keep the black man at the bottom now. We are basically Lions acting like deers. The rest of the animals in the animal kingdom know who we are, but due to systematic racism we are out of touch with ourselves. Its a reason why only MLK, Rosa Parks, and Harriet Tubman are the only black people taught brought at school. Its a world wide campaign to destroy our image, and history through movies, books, whitewashing monuments etc, and constantly changing our name (Hebrew, Israelite, Jew, black, negro, nikka, colored, afro american etc). Its to the point we PAY GOOD MONEY to be brainwashed by white media. We actually go to movies and look at white actors play the role of historical black icons. BUT WE DONT KNOW ITS US

:salute:to your post. As I tried to watch Selma I couldn't help but feel that they were attacking the last remnants of MLK's masculinity in that movie. I just couldn't finish it. They made him look so weak.

I'm sure that's what historical accounts depict.

what alot of you "Down with Whitey" users tend to not know, understand or get is that slavery is as old as civilization. it was common practice to war with rival clans, factions and tribes and then enslave them. common sense would dictate that selling of slaves wasn't on as large as scale as the trans-atlantic slave trade was at it's peak but that those who enslaved rivals had a hand in it, ESPECIALLY tribes that were close to the coast.

It has also been said that the north atlantic slave trade was by far the most viscous form of slavery in history. Yes, slaves were apart of some societies and when tribes warred and conquered they took slaves. But they did not dehumanize them.

In some cultures slaves were apart of the community, a lower caste, but were HUMAN BEINGS. Some could even "work" their way out of slavery and clear their family name. They weren't stripped of their culture, language, religious practices, HOMELAND, and even FAMILY ties. There is a big difference between getting invaded and having a new ruler than being captured, tied up, tortured/raped/beaten and then shipped across the fukking continent to a land you've never seen with people you don't know. And then still be torn from the people you may have been on that ship with. It's deeper than rap. There is a huge difference. Don't lose site of that.

Get dis dumb shyt da entire fukk up outta hea. :aicmon:
He worded it poorly but y'all are killing him. He was trying to say that black people are asking for partnership and understanding to change corrupt system as opposed to bowing down or owning something you do not feel responsible for directly (though passivity does proliferate it). You know these guys are not that well-spoken.

Sounded like some soft, kumbaya wishful thinkin nonsense to me, breh. :yeshrug:

And folks can only go by da actual words dat are spoken. Not da projected substitutions made by others in defense of em ya know. :ld:

shyt just comes across so dangerously naive and completely void of reality.

I watched the clip. I'm glad I did. :francis:

All I'm going to say is that some people have the ability to spot sarcasm and nuance, some people don't. :francis:

uh, African's sold other African's into slavery.

you should extend your knowledge in the slave trade my good man.
Dude they took something as bad as slavery and pushed it to the extreme.

It's like murder. Many people murder each other everyday and that's bad but if you think something as bad as a simple murder is comparable to genocide then your just stupid lol.

Stop reaching with your rediculous comparisons.
