Popular blog has nothing to do with it. There's Millions pumped into COMPLEX. They started with millions pumped in. They are very influential behind the scenes of alot of things. Honestly I don't even think they like black people or the culture like that. Which is why I say they're shaping the culture to make it to where they are comfortable.

A "popular" blog retort would do nothing. Unless that blog has 7-8 figure startup $ that COMPLEX media had.

They put Kreayshawn on a cover. A magazine cover. What accomplishment did she have to justify that?

Also, this article is very defensive. Why? Is Lord jamar and those who think like him that threatening to their agenda?

Why isn't he easily ignored?

summed it up perfectly. these cacs want to mold hip-hop so that they can comfortably slide in and take it over. their purpose, at this point, is to femininize black men, reducing us to skirt-wearing caricatures that get turnt up and spit gibberish (e.g. young thug) while they manage the money and message. but they won't do it to the white rappers. the mac millers. the action bronsons. nah, they'll let them maintain their dignity.

but the black artists? if you're not wearing a skirt or a little shade of blue underneath those eyelids, you're HOMOPHOBIC and you're being a bigot. and if you're black and a bigot, that makes you a hypocrite, because we used to think you were a ******. and now we accept you. so, you have to accept us, which means put this dress on.

that is what is going on. that's their end game to take over hip-hop. paint us as the bigots because we don't want to dress like fakkits. :childplease:

Last time I checked black people are consciously making the decision to dress like women. This isn't some conspiracy, it's an evolution of "me too" excess. One dude starts wearing a dress and is "hot," everybody gonna try and replicate it. Yall need to stop blaming the white man and deal with the fact that there's more demand for party n drug music. Same thing was true in the 60s, 70s, 90s, etc.

Here's the problem: we're reaching a saturation point. I see the success of Macklemore, Mac Miller, Iggy, etc as a herald for what's to come: more "down to earth" music that commercializes non-commercialism. The every day rapper is making a comeback, at the expense of all this excessive money/luxury shyt. Most people who watches these videos can't afford Gucci...but they can afford the shyt Mac Miller rocks. If you're a businessman which one are you gonna start pimping in videos, the out of reach product or the shyt that will guarantee sales?

Why do you think labels have been signing these "regular" rappers lately, ie Kendrick/Cole/etc. Dudes that aren't caught up in the shiny rap shyt. That stuff is going to die out, just watch.
