I have never and will never play more than 100.00 dollars for sneakers and I can afford to buy the high end jordans. Just don't see the value or the style in those or yeezys. I do spend a pretty penny on shoes though.

It's simple, as much as sneaker lovers hate resellers, increased production and the ability to be able to actually cop on demand diminishes the desire.. Had the maroon 6s been limited, they'd be selling for 4 500 right now easy.. Psychology of sneakers

I been noticing this year that there has been more available shoes in stores. I think its a series of things.

1. The market is flooded with all kinds of dope retros (Barkelys, Pippens, Hardaways, Griffeys, Barry Sanders, Deions, etc) plus the new kind of shoes (KDs, Kanyes, Lebrons, Kobes, etc.)
2. Within one year we have seen the price of retro Jordans go up twice. I don't mind paying $200.00 for exclusive Js but every nonexclusive release is now $200.00. Just look at this month Jimmy Jazz RESTOCK. The black/infrared 6 were $170.00, 1 1/2 years ago, the RESTOCK is $190.00. I bought the Maroon 6 recently and the price was $215.00 before tax. The $215.00 is now the new price for retros now.
3. Not only is the store market flooded with retros, the resell market is flooded. Just look at the sneaker summits, there are shoe everywhere.

I got rid of all mines except for my Space Jams and Cements.....was kinda tempted to get the 72-10's but fukk all that. They're just a played out brand minus a few classics. I only fukk with Chucks (especially the new joints)

let me know how they feel....heard nothing but good things from people who just sport just to sport and runners

I don't own a pair, but have been able to try a few on. They are super comfortable. Would recommend getting a pair. Too bad they go for $180.

So Cal
the quality has supposedly stepped up, which is why they raised the price to $200. that $200 shyt just just turned me off of them completely. the 11s last week is the only shyt i copped this year.

maybe because basketball sneakers are played the fukk out.... its 2015...

Not in Houston. Jordans are still selling like crack in the 80s. I remember the last time the All Star game was in Houston in the early 2010s,Nike/Jordan brand opened up a temporary store inside the Galleria shopping mall just to sell exclusive Jordan retro tennis shoes, right next door to the Footlocker. There were no Team Jordans for sale inside this store. The closest thing they came to selling Team Jordans in this store were Spizikes, Dub Zeros, and 6 Rings. Everything else they sold in that Jordan store were restocks, and old deadstock Retros. The Jordan tennis shoe store looked like it was a part of the mall, and I know it took awhile for them to build that side of the mall up. I never seen no shyt like that ever happen before. People were in long ass lines buying all that shyt up. I remember Jr Smith, Benzino,Royce White, and Chamillionaire was in that store that day I went.

Isn't them not selling out a good thing for customers :jbhmm:

Exactly what I was thinking. Reminds me of the 90's when you could get a pair a little later on and not have do all this extra shyt to get a pair. I'm just trying to buy a pair of shoes, not get my certs so I can build a bot or have to pay a tax to someone who bought up all the shoes.

Sold all my Jays for 18k.

Figured people would start to wake up eventually. And they are.

Too many Retros. Quality has been on the decline since they changed factories.

Shoe game been outta control since like 09.

Glad I made a profit before they phased out.

:wow:
