I have never and will never play more than 100.00 dollars for sneakers and I can afford to buy the high end jordans. Just don't see the value or the style in those or yeezys. I do spend a pretty penny on shoes though.

The Yeezys are only popular because of the resell value and people just want to flaunt like they have money. They originally sold for 200 and people resell over close to a 1,000 dollars. A bunch of celebrities and "get money" or wannabe "get money" nikkas cop them and stunt on IG with them. That's not bringing Adidas any money. That's resell money going to the original purchaser you put them shyts on Ebay. Does nothing for Adidas.

The Yeezy's are limited release, their goal wasn't to make Adidas a ton of money, their goal was to raise the profile of the brand and make it a hot brand and make people want to rock other Adidas shyt.

Now the Yeezy's have done their job which is to bring more attention to the brand.. Adidas have so many more eyes on them now then ever before, the problem is the designs of the other shoe are just trash. To make someone want to rock the 3-stripe over the swoosh is an almost impossible feat.

ADIDAS HAS SOME OF THE BEST BASKETBALL SHOES ON THE MARKET.. the D-Rose 6 and UA Curry 2 easily shyt on any Nike shoe released since probably the Kobe 6 in terms of ON-COURT PERFORMANCE. The Lillard's are right up there. But who wants to rock the D-Rose 6? The design is pure garbage.

the resale value is finally drying up because Jordan is trying to compete with the yeezys, brons, foams which the latter are all over 200+ retail.


now their trying to release these off brand color ways for 220 retail then the young nikkas and dope boys are going to overpay for them to get them earlier when they still end up being on the shelves after release.

Except the re-sale game has dried up because Nike has flooded the market with Jordans keeping the supply high instead of low. People don't have to buy used joints from others because they can just walk in a store and buy a fresh pair. They seemingly did this on purpose to kill the re-sale market.

I don't really buy gym shoes that much, plus I have so many pairs that are in good shape from like 8 years ago.

also, they have jacked the prices of the shoes thru the roof. plus, I'm not waiting in line. I'm only getting a pair if they are on sale at the outlet store and they lower those prices.

I found some jordan I's a couple weeks ago at the outlet mall for like $80.

for instance, I have a pair of black/red jordan VIII's that are still brand new in the box. they cost $135 when I bought them. now they're $190
