    I do want to try to get into the franchise, but at this point I have no idea where to start.
    I have FF Tactics on an emulator but didn't make it past the intro.

    do you like turned based rpgs?

    every game is a new world and story so its not like theres an order you have to play them in. i like VI and VII the most and those are pretty good ones for beginners

    Imo rpgs, especially jrpgs are something you had to get into when you were younger around SNES/PSX era. If you missed the boat on it then it’s gone.

    I think some people got into them with final fantasy 10 but that’s probably the latest cutoff point.
