For me, sometimes I think black people arent intellectual. NOT ALL, I want to stress that, i'm black and im typing this. But alot of our culture is always based off some basic Madea, Tyler Perry, Power, Empire, slapstick comedy bullshyt, you tell someone you want to write sci fi novel's or comic books and they look at you like speaking Arabic.

I'm from the hood, and I always had to go out of my way to be accepted, or be extra violent or promiscuous to prove my manhood or blackness. This last couple of months I been reflecting on my life, alot I want to embrace and some shyt im done with. But yeah nikkas just be on some dumb shyt to me sometimes.

I broke up with my ex, and I been dating white women since. I still brought her to Thanksgiving Dinner tho, cuz Im ashamed to bring my white bytches around my family. Plus I dont really take any of them serious. I think im just hurt and bitter. But seriously I couldnt ever be with a white woman for real. But this experience definitely gave me insight on all the "swirling" shyt and the logic alot of people have behind it. It's stupid and alot of it is self hate and spite. Some is for love tho, but mostly its people funneling their insecurities into something that can "hurt" the other sex. shyts wack and its a disservice to there partners.

I prolly got some more, but this the two things i been wrestling with lately. shyt that that been on my mind.

nah. back then, we rejected anything that was corny/whack/garbage - the industry TRIED us, but we weren't having it...so many examples but brian austin green always comes to mind:

they tried to let a 90210 teeny bop actor into the game, his video came on TV and everything - and truthfully he wasn't 100% garbage, but we just weren't having that shyt....

we accepted SNOOP/CHRONIC because we liked that shyt..the music was undeniably good though, but still....

(now, why we accepted No Limit is still a fukking mystery, but that's another discussion)
