when people say "free [insert criminal that was proven guilty]" that shyt is corny.
40 yr old virgin is hilarious
nothing wrong with serving in the military
80's music is the shyt

That the African American community is a matriarchy, doomed to failure.
Hmmm... I wouldn't say all on us.
I do feel some type of way about going from public enemy to nwa especially since the latter got a harder push in the media.

it is corny. it use to be a phrase reserved for political prisoners like mumia or mandela when he was locked down
now nikkas use it for the biggest trap nikkas and murderers in their hood![]()
I also hate how many black folk want to write out Public Enemy out of existence. A lot of oldheads are low key scared to reveal their role on downplaying black power music.![]()

do tell kind sir.

and some try to forget it.I remember seeing footage of a PE concert from back in the day in the Bay area, and Chuck D said "put your lighters up if you selling Dat rock n getting paid" and sure enough, a lot of egotistical heads put their lighters up.
Chuck quickly said that the 'light' they had is killing the community and quickly extinguished it. Made a lot of dope boys feeland some try to forget it.
Another person that hated anything of black power, was the Hughes Bros. Seeing the legendary film of "X" with Denzel Washington and Spike Lee in 92, they dropped "Menace II Society" in 93 and had that Chauncey dude saying "that black power shyt ain't getting play on my ride" and had the theater clapping for that ignorant statement. Again, they did that for downplaying PE, who was the leader of black power music.
this actually makes sense....if you own the MENACE 2 SOCIETY dvd/blu ray, listen to the commentary
