There’s much better reasons to not take my advice.:pachaha:

You're right :deadrose:

But for real, it can’t be that difficult to see how having all but two of the most populated states(top 5) locked up and being able to focus solely on purple states isn’t an advantage.
But candidates already focus on about 5-6 states?

What difference does it make?:dwillhuh:

2016 Election Results: President Live Map by State, Real-Time Voting Updates

To say a candiate needs to just focus on the bog 3 states like texas cali and ny is false, there are voters on both sides of the party whos votes were wasted because they didnt get the majority

This. And I've yet to see anyone mention the fact that many people in these solid blue/red states stay home precisely because they know their vote won't change their state's electoral vote to their side. A system where every individual's vote counts as ONE vote added to a national sum will likely eliminate all those, say, Republicans in California, who know those 55 electoral votes are going to the Democrat anyway, from staying home.

But people in this thread wanna act like 100% of voters in LA and NYC vote Democrat, so they alone would decide the election. That's just not true.

Rural white aren't marginalized, who told you this bullshyt?

Hooked on meth. Manufacturing jobs ain't coming back. Average American has less than $1,000 in savings. Tons of people stuck at home. The 1% captured 82% of the wealth this year.

Rich cacs living it up. Middle to lower middle class cacs struggling. There's a WHOLE WORLD out there outside of Black America. If Hilary spoke to these people or if they hadn't been shady as fukk with that Bernie shyt, maybe we wouldn't have Trump right now in the White House.

They're conservatives. They're actively voting for this. That isn't being marginalized. :martin:

Hillary did speak to them.

She said she was going to have them be re-trained and invest in green manufacturing jobs. They willingly didn't listen or just flat out ignored her.

They only cared about the "deplorable" comment.

She cared a lot by skipping multiple states in middle America for high profile NYC engagements. Came off faker than a $7 bill. Also, was she speaking to them years before or just when it was time to run? It wasn’t just whites saying this about her. Blacks thought she was full of shyt too. I can up the threads here :sas1: Bernie, Biden and Warren came off more sincere....which is why Obama was begging his boy to run.

Regret not voting yet?

Considering she was running against Trump I find it odd you didn't mention him as coming across as more sincere.

This reminds me of the ‘those who pay more in taxes should have more say’ nonsense.
:mjlol:

America is made up of United States(don’t even ask me how:jawalrus:)not individuals. These states joined and remain in the union with the expectation of equal say.
Break that agreement and successions becomes a reality.

Trump got y’all so mad you’re ready to risk the whole union.
:russ:
Equal Say? :Russy:

They arent equal now even with the E-college setup. And the way in which people vote. these idiots this time around had more of a say then other states.

Fine you want to keep that system. keep it. but give these states that are gaining more and more people vs these states that are losing more and more people...More E-college votes. its real simple. any way you slice it, you're doing something that isnt what the people intended when you use the E-college or wiping that away completely. doesnt matter.

and Lol at equal say in states where you have republicans trying to gerrymander and change laws/rules praying it will stop blacks and browns from voting. Thats a misrpresentation of the state if a bunch of your citizens can't vote because you put some nonsense block in the way to try and hold them out. i dont care if it is ID's and some other info. Not necessary. not needed. we dont have a big time issue with illegal voting. you're just trying to stop brown people from NOT voting for you and voting for someone else. you aint slick.

and so for that. you get punished. we taking your E-college votes and giving more to other states that deserve them since they are even more populated than when you last got your votes. yes they already do this but the formula is not extreme enough. There are too many E-votes put in the hands of a very few people. in those fly over states.

and no where did i say people who pay more taxes should get more votes.

more people in a concentrated area should get more say so. Now obviously you have to have some safety precautions in place so it wont to far to the other side. But never again can we have an idiot voted into office by a select few.

Could you imagine the fukkery of more than two candidates running say Bernie and Paul as third party and the country ending up with a president who only won 25% of the popular vote.
:russ:
:ehh:Progressives would have to take over the DNC or sit all the way down in such a system, otherwise the right wins easily.
its not actual difference than what actually occurred. only a select few idiots wanted trump incomparison to the people who wanted hilary or bernie or some other option. the reason you dont know the later is because you couldnt vote for anyone else outside of Hilary or trump. so you dont even have the real numbers of how many people would have voted for other options. which would've sliced the pie up and made it show trumps slice being much smaller in reality.

They said 200,081,377 voters were registered to vote. lets not even talk about the many more who never registered but were eligible to do so. you do the math. trump got 61 million votes and change. thats approx 30% of the registered voters.

30% of the population that can vote and registered to do so just chose who ruled over the other 70% of voters. Now I want you to explain to me how that so much more fair than what I'm advocating? It isnt and you know it isnt.

People say 'well those people didnt vote their loss.' not so fast. You dont know why they didnt vote. They are registered. why didnt they vote? odds are they were illegally locked out of voting by some new bs republican rule(can't do that if you go by the 1965 voters act.) or they didnt see a good choice since we keep getting fed only two candidates.

You have no idea what could have happened. Bernie could've gotten 32% of the votes if everyone actually voted and beat out Hil and Trump by a small margin.

Why shouldn't areas with more actual people have more voting power?

If one state has 200,000 people and another state has 15 million, giving them an equal amount of influence isn't "fair" and doesn't balance anything out, all it does is assign geographical preference to one group of people.
Especially when the state with 200k is actually a burden economically.
