There isn't a strong interest because anytime someone brings up the idea they get shot down immediately...to fragment those games would hurt the experience drastically. It's almost not even feasible with the vision of these titles tbh. Final Fantasy XI did a good job, but didn't grow as much as it should have by bothering with the PS2 crowd. FFXI could have potentially been a monster if they were allowed the freedom that WoW had in incrementally updating the software...along with the system requirements.There doesn't seem to be a strong interest for them. Specially not in comparison to ya'll interest in console exclusives
Is putting together legos such a hassle? To upgrade your video card or processor literally takes minutes...that's all minutes.
On top of that in the long run? You save money on the PC. You guys really exagerrate how much it costs to remain "elite level" status in the PC world...you had people still running with 560 Ti's playing everything on ultra 1080P and that card came out 3+ years ago...and wasn't even the best card in its class when released.
