They pay Dolby for using their products, pay companies(AMD) for hardware, pay studios to create the games(I could've SWORN they acquired companies recently, must have been with monolopy money), the only thing they bring to the table is putting all of that together and relying on fans(like you) to keep them afloat, which works so good that they fell the fukk off since(their 2nd console)... They used to be one of the top tech companies with the best quality shyt...now they dropping games on Nintendo Switch(Cuphead) and Playstation(Minecraft).

maybe you were excited, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt or whatever.
sony does not own their operating system, they do not produce hardware, most of what sony has to complete a console, games, a system to operate off of etc are bought from other companies.
microsoft IS a gaming and PC/Laptop etc company. These deals have existed for 30 years, they literally already have infrastructure and development on hardware, and arguably the biggest piece of software in history with windows. They can put windows 10 ... tweaked to any device they want for free... because they own it obviously. They could implement windows 10 into a toilet at no extra cost. Sony cannot do whatever they want with linux, they do not own linux... just the rights to use it for playstation at a cost.
Thats a L ... no matter how you cut it.... you've had 20 years to develop an operating system just for playstation alone.
When Sony put out Vaio laptops, that were actually pretty good... they flopped. And guess what Mr Big Brains... they had to pay microsoft to put windows on them
The cost of the 800$ laptop and cutting everyone that brings hardware and software to sony just arent a viable way of profiting off above average products that nobody was buying. If sony developed all that shyt on their own they wouldnt have that problem. Even Samsung passed them up randomly and started dropping more tech..... This will really hurt your feelings, developing Lollipop or mashmellow for tablets and smart TVs ... STILL would have been more than sufficient and viable than doing nothing like Sony did.3.
Posting stats about how many games uncharted sold or whatever games you bring up makes no difference to me. They've sold 108 million consoles of course people have the games. Halo sold way less and still made 400 million. Numbers obviously make sense to a console who has more players, like you pointed out, I own both so why would I care how much money someone else is making?

Going in to the next gen I know I’m getting both cause I always do, but I’m totally disinterested in a bunch of sequels to the aforementioned “greatness” you talked about.
