I don't think we'll get them on Shady. Mostly because it just doesn't make sense. Griselda is a self contained unit, and asking Shady to just step in and distribute their product is something that Shady has never done before. Not only that, bu asking Shady to do that and NOT interfere with the product is also asking a lot. I mean, even assuming Shady wants to do exactly that...they don't have the experience doing it, and they're taking on a lot of risks.
Even if WSG and Conway stop putting images of Hitler and Osama Bin laden on their albums...it's about to be 2018...I don't think Shady wants to distribute any artist that ever did have those images on their artwork. It's too much of a PR risk in such a sensitive era.
I saw the tracklist and saw some joints cut off ('95 Ghost shyt, Vegas Brothers, the joint with Schoolboy Q, the joint with Anderson Paak, the 9th Wonder joint, the DJ Premier joint, etc.) and I thought, "Oh, those must not have made the cut on Shady due to sample clearance issues...but now listening to this on Soundcloud, it's clear that COnway had full creative control, which oddly enough I prefer over a major label release that's neutered.
And people can say "Enjoy this while we have it, because Shady will fukk with the product" but what would that even sound like? Could you even get these guys in a studio with Boi-1da or Alex the Kid? Can these dues even rap on beats that aren't Daringer or Alchemist? If Shady says, "Sorry, you can;t use Daringer" then Griselda is out of the deal, because Daringer is Griselda, love him or hate him"
TL;DR - I think we will keep getting Soundcloud/Spotify releases with them selling some vinyl and CD copies on social media to die hard fans, and I think that's how they're gonna continue their hustle. I think a lot of shyt that we don't know about behind the scenes happened in 2017 with Shady, and hopefully we will get Hall & Nash 2, Reject 3, Flygod 2, etc, as they were intended to be heard...but I don't think that will ever happen through Shady.
