I have never understod the Reject 2 name at all.

Devil's Reject was the first mixtape...and it is mostly old beats by artists like Mobb Deep, Kanye West, etc. There's a couple of original joints. The cover art uses the same font as the movie, etc. It's the definition of a mixtape.

Reject 2 I guess is the sequel...but it's not a sequel at all. The artwork is unique and not a play on the movie, and there are no old beats on there. It's 10 tracks of all original production, and IMO it's an album. It dropped on vinyl, and it's still out on iTunes. Most mixtapes don't drop on vinyl. So they can call it a mixtape as much as they want, but to me it's not.

Reject 2 is debut in my eyes.

Yeah that Rae verse is dope but I just can't rock with that beat for 6 minutes.

I'm risking sounding like a hater, but I really don't think this is seeing Reject 2 at all.

That said I'm definitely bumping this heavy for rest of the winter. Still a very dope release.
