No doubt. At a certain point if you set a standard, just stick to that standard. Lulu showed some growth from Conway. More hooks and more diverse flows, while working with a producer that can really push him.

WSG stepped it up on Pray for Paris. Benny stepped it up on on Plugs I Met. Now that Conway stepped it up on Lulu and has been playing some next level joints on IG for his next two big projects, I don't know why he'd fall back to a fairly average produced project with Big Ghost.

People ask Benny when Tana Talk 4 is dropping and he says he wants to live more life experience first and he doesn't just wanna drop everything he records. It's quarantine season and I will not complain about free music, but it does sort of feel like Conway just throws us everything he records.

I'm sounding mad haterish (sorry @Xtraz2 ) but Conway is building to something special, and this just feels like a random side-step.
:manny: I'm gonna bump it this spring and summer, but I've been a Griselda fan since for almost 5 years now and this ain't on par with with any of the most recent 3 releases from each dude (Plugs/Paris/Lulu).
I'm assuming more stream money since the tour got shut down. He doesn't do as much merch as West and Benny either.

First time I've seen this take.

I'll get the popcorn ready

To each their own, I don't see the appeal of WSG at all. He's a good hype man and makes the others sound better by comparison but thats it. I'd love to be proved wrong if anyone wants to drop his best tracks

His new project Pray for Paris seems to be the one that's converted the most people that didn't like him before.

I'll def check it out. I'm not trying to come off as a hater, if people like him then good. Maybe it's his voice that turns me off idk
That's fair. It takes a lot of ppl a minute to catch it. Assuming they ever do. The voice throws people off for sure. Weirdly enough he used to rap in his normal voice

He def sounds way better there. Sounds alot like AZ! So he does the higher pitch on purpose?
100%. The higher pitch voice is a stylistic choice.

All I can say is that on some joints it's more pronounced and on others it's less. It's almost like he's playing a character, almost like a wrestling gimmick.

I liked him more when I stopped trying to view him as an emcee. He's more like a producer/rapper honestly. And he doesn't make beats but he's definitely a producer. He's almost like an indie scene underground Puffy or Dre, where he's doing performance art. He's not super lyrical, but he does this shyt where he'll say something really goon'd out right next to something really luxurious and high art. Something about that dichotomy between high class and super ignorant can be really dope.

I dunno. If you don't like him you aren't alone though. I can only handle his music in small doses. But when it hits it really hits.
