I was high on Rui when the Lakers got him, but I've seen enough...The Lakers would be taking a huge risk if they give him a multi-year 12-16m contract......I would try to work out a sign/trade with Brooklyn. The Nets were trying to trade for Rui before he became a Laker.

I watched him in Washington. I didn't get why the fanbase was so hyped about getting him. He'll have one game where he'll drop 25 then the next 4 you'll be lucky if he gives you 10.

I’m still gonna hold out on Rui. I think we’re seeing the negatives that got him traded but he’s still raw which works in his favor. With that said, he gon need to take a friendlier deal to stay in LA like 8-10 friendly to start.

Because he was better than JTA, hes not gonna break his bad habits in 20 games. Lakers have a chance at developing him, if he works great, if he doesn't, its cool
