yeah, it's been a shyt show of events.

First they didn't charge him with assault, then people protested until they did, then they fukked around and tried to charge HER, so more protesting until the police chief-- who's a black woman-- apologized and dropped the charge.

Not sure where it's at right now.

Yeah breh. I used to be pretty deep into the happenings around here and local politics/policy but I got burnt out. Too much fukk shyt. The chief was hired as a tactic and showed exactly who we already knew she was with that stunt. The DA's office was even worse but thankfully we have Creuzot in office now trying to do the right thing. I have faith in breh and I can't say that for most of Dallas politicians.

Goon Squad - Catset
Officers Had No Duty to Protect Students in Parkland Massacre, Judge Rules

“Neither the Constitution, nor state law, impose a general duty upon police officers or other governmental officials to protect individual persons from harm — even when they know the harm will occur,” said Darren L. Hutchinson, a professor and associate dean at the University of Florida School of Law. “Police can watch someone attack you, refuse to intervene and not violate the Constitution.”

The Supreme Court has repeatedly held that the government has only a duty to protect persons who are “in custody,” he pointed out.

so what exactly is their reason to exist?

@DEAD7 you finally got your excuse to privatize the police :wow:
