Was out walking around downtown where I live, and it was lightly surreal. A lot of kids in all black breaking windows, and doing little bullshyt vandalism, multiple helicopters circling, hundreds of officers in riot and SWAT gear, people riding around like The Purge hanging out of car windows. BLM graffiti tagged up. What a night. It hasn't stopped yet. It really felt like Joker in moments, but the kids I saw weren't threatening to me, at all, just generally speaking. Stand with the protests, and the minor vandalism I think is just people taking advantage of the moment to play cops and robbers in the dark. That's all they were doing.
