Wow. Not shock, disappointment, just wow. I've sat thru movies with endings as transparent as this "decision" and you still watch with a small bit of curiousity like will they really just stick to the predictable scripted ending? Illegal chokehold on camera, yet nothing illegal occurred.


I've long made friends with the idea that at my size and my look I have to be overly super cautious when dealing with the police. .. blah blah blah poor me.

Holder has a strong civil rights prosecution history at lower offices, but the law still requires standards thats hard to truly prove.

Obama gets fukking lit behind the scenes and knows what people's perception of him is...probably way more than you think he does...but he can't come out and say some divisive shyt to further jeopardize all the gains he's made thus far.

His job is to hold us together as americans first and foremost...and any attempt at limiting that or shrinking the effect of that discredits his image as being someone who can speak to an ideal of unity.

I'll never criticize him because we all know that he's clearly pro-black, has a pro-black history, and makes great efforts to enact policies that benefit people when he can.

Its a thankless job but we're doing him a disservice by not reading between the lines.

Yes. I wish he could do more. I always wish he could do more...but you have to understand how the game is played.

I entirely understand the dichotomy involving his position and expectations. I don't hold that against him in the least. And I'm sure that there many instances that you can provide that illuminates more about his personal beliefs regarding issues like this. I don't mean to say that anything you present is false by any means....but I just don't feel it breh. Being understanding about his responsibilities even, anything I hear would never feel genuine to me. It just won't. I don't criticize him though because I placed no value on his ability to change things in the first place. He's just the President. That stock has been low for me as soon as I was old enough to understand the nature of politics.
