I was recently pulled over for speeding (70 in an 80 in Virginia). The cop got mad at me because I would not get my license. I instead sat there with both arms out the window. He was mad because he had to call back up to get my info out of the glove box. I did not want to move and get shot because he told me to keep my hands where he could see them. To get my info would have required me to have my hands out of his view briefly so I did not do it. Cops are notorious for giving difficult or ambiguous instructions. I'm glad so many here know exactly how they would respond with belligerent cops aiming guns at them. Having had the experience more than once, I can tell you the anxiety can get so high the situation won't seem real. That b*stard cop was 100% wrong. No ifs, ands, or buts about it

You're not alone. I can't fake feeling sorry for the other races being abused by cops when blacks have been saying it was happening. Its just like when people were outraged about the white lady getting shot by the Somali cop. I ran out of fukks to give everyone else is on their own.
I will say the cop was trying to humiliate him & give him a reason to shoot him. It would make more sense to hold the gun on him and have another officer handcuff and check him for weapons. Making him crawl towards him but still keep his hands up & telling him if he falls just fall on his face & not try to brace his fall is irrational. And of course the cop has other complaints against him. But this has happened plenty of times before and people justified it. I wonder if anyone is gonna make a go fund me for the cop.

There was no scenario in which he was going to make it out alive.
It’s because he was drunk he put his hands down. I was drunk once and ran into police. One of them must have told me at least 20 times to take my hands out of my pocket.
