shyt just happened to me about an hour ago and now i'm just sitting here like :dwillhuh:

I'm driving through southside (queens) on baisley after dropping this chick off at her crib (crazy thing is I was pointing out to here all the DT's driving while we were in her hood)

I'm at the light and the DT starts flashing his lights. I pull over and this dominican and CAC cop pop out. Dominican comes to the drivers side while the white cop comes to the passenger flashing lights everywhere. He asks me for license and registration then he tells me to open the passenger window for the CAC cop.

Dominican Cop - Open your passenger window

Me - No Why? :what:

Dominican Cop - :demonic: so my buddy can talk to you from that side, open it.

Me - No I don't have to open it because you asked. I don't feel comfortable speaking to him across a seat, If he wants to talk to me tell him to come to the drivers side, i'm on this side i want him to look me in the eye when he speaks :mjpls:

Dominican Cop - :aicmon:

I didn't realize my doors was unlocked :snoop: but thats when the CAC cop grabbed the handle and opened up my door

CAC cop - What is this window broke or something?

Me - :wtf: you know you can't open my door like that

CAC cop - Listen just open the window :demonic:..You know what :birdman:

This is when he rolled down the windows himself after opening the door..He closed the door folded his arms resting them on the window taunting me pretty much like :shaq: what you gonna do now?

Dominican Cop - Thats all you had to do :shaq:

CAC - Why didn't you just do it?

Me - You know you cant open my door or window like that c'mon. Just do the right thing :damn:

CAC cop - man you know what....(thats when he cut his words short and walked away)

I mean i could have easily just opened the window. But its the principle of the whole thing. What if the door was locked how far could these guys have taken it?

I didn't get a badge number or name :snoop: but honestly what could I have done afterwards with no proof? shyt left me with a bad feeling :mjcry:

Funny thing is that through this whole story, There was not one mention on why they stopped you in the first place.

But you should have just opened the car window. Instead you got disrespected more and really could have turned the NYPD being dikks into a whole big issue about a car window.

Your main goal is to limit interaction with these pigs and get home alive.

Just comply :damn: Unless you have a cam in your car good luck trying to prove the illegal actions of these cops.

I got stopped on Friday Night coming home from the Nets vs Suns game at Barclays Center. I was with my girl in my mother's 2011 Mercedes Benz C Class.

Near Grand Army Plaza, I drove past this cop car that was unlit and parked. I noticed those motherfukkers starting to move after I past them and they start to follow me. At this point I make sure I stop at every red light, even when that shyt is yellow.

At the last red light before Grand Army Plaza turns into Eastern Parkway. There was this car in front of me that clearly ran the red light,

I was like:whew:, these fools would get off my back now.

I was wrong.

I stop and these nikkas are right behind me paying no mind to the car in front of me that clearly ran the red light.

The Light Turns Green and I move.

Then I get lit up.

I pull over to the side Cops right behind me.

My Girl: Is that for you

Me: :dwillhuh: I Guess

CAC cop starts to walk to the vehicle

CAC Cop: Is this your vehicle

Me: Nah its my mothers Car

CAC Cop: You know you ran that Red Light back there
*Inside I was like:dahell: :comeon:*

Me: Well I didn't see it:ld:

CAC Cop::beli: License and Registration Please

Me: *Pull out my Driver's license from my wallet and get the registration out of the glove compartment* Making sure not to make any sudden movements.

CAC Cop: *takes it and walks back to the car*

My Girl: You did not run a red light

Me: I know, maybe there was a close call back along time ago.:ld: (Knowing clearly I was unjustly stopped)

My Girl: That makes no sense and that Car before you clearly ran the red light and they stopped you. This whole thing is fishy. Because The first question he asked you was whose vehicle was this

Me: I guess, ( trying to calm my girl down because I know she can turn up real quick and I just wanted to get this whole thing over with because there is nothing I can do at this moment other than fight the ticket later) (I really don't need an arrest of her or me to add to this situation)

CAC Cop walks back to the car

CAC Cop: here you go *hands me my license and registration*

Me: I can leave now

Cac Cop: Yeah.

He didn't give me a ticket, But I knew it was a pretextual stop, he lied about me running the red light, He stopped me in order to see I f the vehicle that I was driving was stolen or unregistered. ABSOLUTELY ILLEGAL. The real justification for the stop was being a Black man driving a Mercedez Benz.

On the ride back, I was thinking about how could I have proven that this CAC cop was lying that I ran a red light. I though and I thought, and there was nothing. I even missed the street that I normally turn on to get homebecause I was so deep in my thoughts.

I came to the conclusion that the only way for me to prove it, was my word only. It would be my word against the cops word in traffic court.

Moral of the story. Instead of us just getting mad, or scared, We really need to actively lobby those in Albany that the NYPD have dashboard and body cameras 24/7 in order to stop the police from racial profiling in New York City.

NYC black coffee tough guys aka the Stoozy Boys
Then they follow up with
Step out the car
pull ya pants down
and ya hands on the hood

The thing is, in NYC you have to speak the "language" when dealing with crushers. Even if you know your rights, they don't care, they never have. But in NY they'll let you walk away if you "cooperate". I've walked away from having a knife in my pocket simply by giving them a fake name (I never carry I.D.) and being cordial. I rather talk with a pig for a few minutes and lie, then to be abrasive. Because as we've seen, you can get fukked up the ass regardless of rights, laws, etc. It's always better to manipulate than to recite something they hate hearing. :win:

good mental job staying calm.....i had a similar incident in mount vernon while house hunting a while back involving a lie about missing a stop sign. kept cool, let them check my paperwork and went about my business.
