Cole ain't learn how to make solid albums till Forest Hill drive mixtapes aside.

I agree with this 100%. Was not rocking with Cole albums until 2014 FHL. That’s what made me a fan.

I don't think it's an oldhead thing but a critique. I was late teens early 20s and felt the same way about J.Cole ironically enough. Maybe because I was such a fan at the time, but I used to cringe whenever Cole said nikka multilple times. I kept count

He tends to have more to talk about on his albums. On his features, he's just trying to prove that he's the best, but he's done this so many times, it's boring. You could take his features over the last few years, switch the songs they're on, and not even be able to tell the difference.

Also, I'm starting to realize that half the time, I literally can't understand what he's saying. I don't know if it's because he does his own vocal production or that fast flow drowns out some of his words, but I noticed it here and it was distracting.

As SOON as he started doing that double time shyt i just went “Man not again ”

Im an Em fan and I’m just getting annoyed with this shyt now. He does NOT need to be rapping like that ALL the time on damn near EVERY feature.

When I heard Cordae’s verses I was expecting Em to come on there with that same energy. Like on some “Renegade” shyt. And I KNOW he is capable of doing it cause I heard him like that on “Kamikaze” and “Music To Be Murdered By.”

But nah…he just HAS to prove to the world that he can crunch a whole bunch of words on one bar for no damn reason

As someone who normally loathes Eminem I will say his verse started OUT ok but that double time flow he’s been relying on for a fukking decade is played out and at this point it feels like a crutch to hide the fact that he’s not really saying shyt.

Ems verses are cut and paste to almost ALL his features. They all sound the exact same.

Amazing how Cordae and Wayne have had a video out for a while now and this y’all first time hearing Sinister

parables came out year ago. Crazy how he didn’t even add a new verse.. just added Em to the end and he still stands out more on it than Em does and the beat is retro Em style

We’ll hear the Nas verse eventually.. it’s either gonna leak or end up on an updated version of the album
