Then Obama invited him to the inner circle and allowed him to write a book about him and Dyson had been sucking his dikk since. Jokers need to blame all the eligible folks who voted in 2012 that didn't vote in 2016 cause they didn't like that Hillary was running. The total number of stein votes in swing states was smaller than the margin of votes that Trump beat clinton.

The fact that the white liberals are attacking west is just proving his point. I like Coates.. but his blind allegiance to hillary clinton, liberals and the democratic party has always been his main fault. BUT to Coates credit he did take some shots at the so called liberals and progressives after the trump election. I think that was somewhat of a wake up call to him and other black liberal lackeys when they saw the large majority of whites voted trump regardless of class, gender etc.. And not sure why folks are mad at Jill Stein. She was the ONLY candidate that openly backed reparations to African Americans. Ironic that Coates supported Hillary who was openly against reparations.
One thing about West is that he has been pretty consistent. He has never really aligned himself with a party but rather his own ideals and you have to respect him for that. He doesn't always say the popular thing but history has proven he and tavis were right about Obama. Remember when everyone was talking chess not checkers and we should just be happy a black man is in the white house and saying Obama would do specific things for black folks in his second term... yeah that never happened.

When Melissa Harris Perry was the "chosen one" she publicly shytted on Dr. West and I don't remember too many of the public intellectuals calling her out or defending him.
What happened then and what's happening now is just a more visible version of the kind of PURE fukkERY that goes on in academia. Pissing contests,chest beating, and back stabbing as bad as any rap beef.

Did you read what the fukk Coates says about Obama besides the fact he criticized Obama for being colorblind.
Coates is an apolitical Black pessimist writer. He fits within Derrick Bell narrative that Black people will never get anywhere without White people since White people will only do things that benefit them. So any Black advancement is tied into White Supremacy as a political, economic, social and legal structure. Like the loose restructuring of the One Drop social norm when White women started having babies with Black men. Or the freeing of the slaves during the Civil War to disrupt the Confederacy.
So Ta-Nehisi Coates never criticizes Barack Obama outside of him being Booker T. Washingtonish, colorblind and optimistic. He doesn't criticize his administration or presidency directly whatsoever and when he talked to Obama pretty much asked him, "What is it like being raised by White people...". In the end, can anybody point to Ta-Nehisi Coates going after Obama and his crappy policies and holding him accountable to the Black Electorate.
Ta-Nehisi Coates treats Obama like a therapy patient than a President. Someone to observe, analyze and talk to.
And who explicitly asks to be embraced by an audience? Like nobody in the public sphere says "Please like me."
