Yeah I been finding myself on email till 7 PM at home

Had 4 Zoom meetings yesterday

Now my colleagues have a coffee chat over Zoom at 2 PM going everyday till we get back to normal.


In the office I got an urgency to finish things by 5:30 PM. And dip. Barely take my laptop home unless I travel or know I ain’t gonna come in.

honestly nothing really changed for me...I already could work from home 3 days of week and more if I really wanted. now I work 5

So we have our first confirmed covid patient at my hospital. They have turned a whole unit with negative pressure into a “covid wing” in order to keep the confirmed patients and ones to rule out. I’m spooked brehs. I’ll be working in the ER tomorrow morning so wish me luck.

My brother is a software developer too, works for Amazon. He working from home here too and I swear he's been playing games half the day

I'm working for an international NGO so I can always work remotely but we are expected to be in the office 80% of the time if we ain't traveling heavily which is what my boss does with multiple projects in multiple countries

What will be the psychological impacts of long time (4-8 weeks) social distancing? Especially the extreme kind where you can only go out for supply runs to the grocery store. Human beings are social creatures by nature, so all of that social distancing can't be good for the mind right?

The gym at University of Maryland I use with my alumni membership is shut completely down
