You are drawing conclusions way too early, when the data is skewed to favour your biases.

I guarantee you 12 months from now the US death toll will not only be larger than France, but also Spain, Italy, and the UK. Maybe even all four combined.

When the dust settles is the time to make sweeping statements about healthcare systems being exposed, and I promise you, when the dust settles, the evidence will show that it is the American system that is deeply flawed and not UHC.
i dont really see how this is exposing the healthcare system as "flawed". you think it would be more efficient if the government was in charge? :skip:

it's exposed that we aren't ready, capacity wise, for a massive pandemic. but none of this has been about healthcare costs so far, just sheer numbers of people

My GF is saying that her hospital administrators are saying that as well. We’re in different states, was kinda doing a self quarantine bc I was working in a downtown area with tons of cases. planning on what to do going forward. Thanks breh. Be safe

not to be the my uncle works here guy

but my uncle works at teh CDC and told my mom to expect a shut down two week from now. that was last week. so he has a week to come good:martin:.

but i do feel like these non essential bans are warm ups to a shut down. im not afraid of it but these people will act super silly. but the fact of the matter is americans Live too fast, cant sit still, and are afraid to have the govt tell them to do anything even for their own well being. so while a shut down prob shoulda happened two weeks ago it didnt happen because i believe they are afraid of backlash

my big fear is that come two weeks people who haven’t seen the effects of the virus first hand are just gonna say fukk it and start trying to live life like normal.. it’s just like climate change.. it’s cold where I am so global warming is obviously some sort of hoax.

I agree these shutdowns of restaurants, events and others are a gradual buildup to a total shutdown. I’ve thought the whole time Americans would not take well to that.. we’ll see

Nah, I feel like their heavy smoking culture is being exposed. France, Italy, Spain, China...
Went to Italy, Poland, and Germany in 2017 with my girlfriend. Lotta smokers. A ton. But almost no obese people. Honestly I’m not sure I saw a single one. So if their smoking culture is being exposed I think our fat culture is about to be exposed.

Those idiots in TLR are running away with that one ABC poll about "55% of Americans approve of Trump's handling of the coronavirus situation" to mean that he's GUARANTEED to win re-election.

That's just one poll and it has a small sample size. Even if it's true, it doesn't mean that he's going to be re-elected. Fukking idiots man :snoop:

Just to show the idiocy of Italian companies, this is one week into the crisis from the center of the infection by the official employers' association:

I’m with you. I’m expecting a sort of go out, go in, go out, go in, repeating process.

Americans definitely aren’t used to and hate the idea of a not moving. Which is ironic because so many Americans are fat and obese. But we are always on the move. My favorite thing about my two trips to Europe have been the slower pace of things. Everyone moves a little slower and life doesn’t seem as high paced.

Americans are always hustling. Racing to the next thing or place. Especially in big cities. I’ve been expecting many of us to not take well the idea of totally stopping.

I can’t argue with you breh.

In general the women there are way more feminine.

this is going to sound too traditional perhaps, and I don’t mean it that way, but it was refreshing to see almost all the women there so stylish. I don’t think I saw any women walking around the streets in sweatpants, hoodies, or super casual attire.
