People really acting like we're done with the pandemic. I was watching the Players Championship this weekend and although the gallery was limited, everyone was still on top of each other. Not surprisingly, 3 PGA golfers tested positive after this weekend. Probably a whole lot more in the gallery.

Now CDC is saying students may not need 6ft distance from each other even without vaccinations:gucci:. I think the US is letting their guard down. Other countries are still on lockdown. There seems to be a crazy push in the US to open everything up. At least the Dems before were :whoa:. But now they also seem to be pushing for opening up just as much as the Republicans.

The fatigue effect is real. At this point I’m adopting that individualism aspect and doing the best to keep myself safe moving forward. Even after I get a vaccine

Easier said than done. I think a lot of companies who are still allowing remote work will force their employees back once kids go back to school. Hopefully vaccinations are mandatory but I'm not even sure that's going to be the case either. I think Biden's administration has made it their goal to have the country back to 'normal' come 4th of July.

yea i noticed alot of this lately amongst my group of people. i think the talk of vaccinations has gotten alot of people thinking everyone is vaccinated and they can go back to normal. putting hte cart before the horse. i hope im wrong. but at the same time i been in this thread since the jump talking about there needs to be more expansive help for businesses and individuals so we can make sure everyone is doing the right thing and not the economic thing buuuut it wont be that way.

i hope we dont have the same issue europe and brazil are having at the moment going into may as a result of right now and easter coming up. i know PA is starting to open that weekend but we are one of the worst states at getting vaccines out.

speaking of vaccines im finding it very fukking interesting at least in pittsburgh that there are less places to get the vaccine than there are in suburban pittsburgh and i need answers

It’s crazy, a lot of HL posters are acting like it’s over too. I’ve seen so many posts criticizing lockdowns and mask mandates that I thought I was in TLR by mistake.

Its too be expected with this virus fatigue. A ton of Americans and really any other country say like Europe, feel bothered that their livelihood is interrupted by a virus. There is something about the Asian culture that understands, maybe its because they've always had to deal with this?

No culture is perfect, but at least in that area, they are pretty quick to deal with it.

For us, specifically non-humble, they think a shot means your not going to get it, which is false.

I also understand for Biden's cabinet that this is a no-win situation, as how can you really tell a divided nation to not go on lockdown? The best they can really do is tell people to get vaccinated, which at least lowers the death count and severe incidents.
