Corporate brehs: Is this fit considered business casual in your office?

My issue is that they flex about degrees that don't matter.

I'd completely understand if she had like a degree in particle physics or accounting or biochemistry. But usually when they say this, they're talking about generic business degrees or communications degrees, or worse the dreaded psychology degree.

They never tell you this. No shyt you got a 3.8 GPA, your highest math is algebra.

The degree matters.

Same, I worked at corporate for a major bank. Started wearing ties to shut them the fukk up. Then ppl started complaining because I made everyone else look bad but they couldn't do shyt about. To this day I still mostly wear ties in office days. That change alone got me so much attention and movement up the ladder. People assume I take my job seriously (i don't) and they don't pull the same bs they pull on others. Especially other black men. My boy wears a suit everyday and has gotten roles far above his expertise.....and enemies because some cacs think he's uppity for the way he dresses. One even said as much.



Fridays though, I wear what she's wearing. I got a athletic cut green polo to show the gains, performance gray suit pants and some light brown dockers. Would've worn the black and gray NB but I have meetings.

This some flip the script shyt. Might have to try it. What they gone do, tell you to dress down?

She took her dumb ass to straight to Walmart asap and bought them flats though. Talking all that shyt but couldn't even finish the day in her fit.

Business casual is very vague. So if HR doesn't have a specific expectation, then it really comes down to what the Manager says. I'm not sure what her degrees have to do with what she's allowed to do though. I'm sure there are people there with even more degrees than her and have to comply

I don’t see anything wrong with her outfit but her reaction and running to the app whining is childish as hell.
