Absolutely. Especially the 90s.
You would have a stronger argument if the bulls attempted the same amount of 3s in 98 as they did in 96 and 97.
In 98 the bulls as a team shot only 962 3s which averages to 12 a game for 82 games.
in 97 the bulls as a team shot 1403 3s which averages to 17 a game for 82 games.
in 96 the bulls as a team shot 1349 3s which averages to 16 a game for 82 games.
Why this is important is because the 3pt shot is a groove and rhythm shot, the more of those shots you take the better your percentages are usually. If you only take 1 or 2 a game as a player you don't develop the consistency and rhythm needed to consistently make the shots. so the bulls dropped off 400-500 attempts from 97 to 98 and ultimately that was a bigger reason why them as a team fell from 3pt percentages more than the line being pushed back
Nobody is guarding Rodman or Longley on offense, and both the Cavs & Warriors are more than capable of guarding EVERYONE outside of Hakeem.
Also, Longley & Kukoc get destroyed on those switches where they get the job of guarding KD, Bron, Steph, Kyrie.
yep Luc Longley/Cartwight vs Ostertag/Ervin Johnson/Perkins/Duckworth/Vidac/Oliver Miller matchups were legendary. Warriors, Spurs and Cav would get destroyed inside.
NAH
TOO MANY DOMINANT BIGS
IF WE'RE PLAYING BY 2DAYS RULES...
IF WE'RE PLAYING PHYSICAL BALL...
NOPE
Bold face lie? Nobody got more phantom fouls on post fadeaways than MJ. Stop it.
LMAO
HOW CAN YOU WATCH THIS ERA
AND MAKE SUCH A BOLD FACE LIE?
Like I said before...how was the 90's so much more physical than today if this guy was allowed to eat and become an allstar?

WAIT
WHO IS GUARDING JORDAN?
LONGLEY COULD MAKE
MID RANGE SHOTS ALL DAY
IF YOU DONT GUARD HIM.
I can't see the warriors running through hakeems rockets.
Hakeem would drop 40 and 20 on zaza and mcgee and draymond. And that team was perfectly built around hakeem.
They might have a tough time with the spurs as well because of The Admiral
I've got a permanentNot just an all-star....that little guy was 1st-team All-NBA.
Little Mark Price as 1st-team All-NBA but the Warriors are gonna be scared of the physicality.
Wait a second...at various times both Drexler and Reggie have been named as one of the tougher matchups Jordan had, because they were the only guys he was facing who were as long as he was.
Klay is just as big as either of them AND a far better and smarter defender than both of them.
Klay wouldn't shut MJ down, but he'd do at least as good a job against Jordan as anyone in Jordan's era did.

Don't front like you needed a great center to beat Hakeem's teams. The Dream had one crazy run his rookie year with 7'4" Sampson basically playing PF, and then the two title runs when the league was as low-talent as it had been in a minute with 6 expansion teams AND no Jordan.
Back in the 1980s and 1990s most teams were just a star, a sidekick, and role players. That's why Hakeem was able to run through the league with the lineup he had. Those Hakeem teams would have been DESTROYED by Golden State at every position except center. The Dream would drop 40 and 20 and still lose by 30. I'm sure you're too young to remember, but he had lines like that in loses even back then against far less talented squads than Golden State.
