Addressing the Deshaun Watson thing.

I'm good with whatever the coaching staff and front office decide to do but if they dump Tua and go for Deshaun my only issue will be how much they are willing to give up for him. I understand DeShaun is 25 and a top 3 QB in the league (arguably) right now. Opportunity to get something like that doesnt come often. But i hear talks of people willing to shell out both the 3rd, 18th and Tua + other mid-round picks for DeShaun and to me that's a bit excessive.

If they get watson, it should be for 18, 2nd rounder, Tua and next year first.

I still feel that's a hefty price but wouldnt be mad at it :manny: I'd prefer we do just a 1st (18) and a second and Tua

They technically have no leverage if Watson wants to go to Miami. He has a no trade clause :whew:. As long we keep enough assets to build around Watson I am good.

Stafford being on the market gives us some leverage in case Greer is interested in Watson. Not that we want Stafford but him being available will have dinner if the other bids for Watson looking at him as an option thus lessening the demand for Watson at that price tag Houston is likely to be putting on him.
+ Detroit picks 8th and may wanna trade up to 3 for a QB:mjlit:

I'm thinking Chicago and the Jets will at least look into Stafford.

So now that the Stafford deal set the market, what's your price for Watson? Think Rams gave up 2 (future) 1st and a 3rd for Stafford

I might regret this but I'm not for I'm not for trading for Watson.

Great player but I feel we should trust the process with Tua and the picks we have coming.
